Julio Lugo at Fenway Park
Originally from Barahona, DR, Lugo found a new home in Brooklyn, NY, when his mother Rhina moved with her children to follow the American dream, a dream that was made true when Julio Lugo became a MLB player. In 2006, Lugo joined the Boston Red Sox and found a place where local community embrace him not only for his well-proven talent in sports, but also for his collaborations in several humanitarian causes.
We thank Julio Lugo for his support to our program, and wish him a fast recovery of his injury. We are looking forward to seeing him back to where he belongs: Fenway Park!
