During the 2010 Access Awards, a special recognition honoring the 35th anniversary of ¡Con Salsa! con Jose Masso. Was presented by Lt. Governor of Massachusetts Tim Murray and Digna Gerena, Executive Producer of Boston Latino TV, the "Excellence in Radio Broadcasting" Governor's Citation was given to Jose Masso in recognition of 35 years of hosting and producing his bilingual radio show on WBUR.
Immediately following was a scorching hot salsa performance by professional dancers Rumba y Timbal they danced to the sultry sounds of singer Luis Figueroa-Roig, a talented artist and recipient of the Juan Luis Guerra Scholarship at Berklee College of Music.
Boston Latino Tv acknowledges Jose Masso's passion and dedication to preserving our heritage and we wish him many more years of producing Con Salsa the bilingual radio show that is a staple on WBUR every Saturday night and celebrates our “patria y cultura”
