La Alianza Hispana's Raices
A Jibaro Music Celebration
March 20, 2010 | Boston, MA - La Alianza Hispana hosted "Raices," a fundraiser to help support the programs that are for years have helped hundreds of families in our community. The evening's exciting musical line-up included live performances by Grupo Yagua's David Morales and a surprising performance by Angel Salcedo among others. This event is an act of support and collaboration between two sister organizations, the National Congress of Puerto Rican rights and ¿Oíste?, in response to the recent budget cuts affecting crucial services in the Latino community.
